200 years! That’s the minimum time it could take for a plastic plate to decompose. Over the two centuries, it would see great moments of history, but at the same time, it would do a ton of damage to the planet. It takes all the elements of nature to painstakingly wear it down into dust. On the other hand, an areca palm leaf plate takes only 2 to 3 months to not only decompose, but also act as a natural fertilizer for the soil. All you need is soil to bury it in, and your usual vermicomposting process. Can you see any reason why we should persist with plastic disposables anymore?

No chemicals, only areca in Adaaya palm leaf plates!
Adaaya: better than plastic any day!
