Picnics! Who doesn’t love them? Well, maybe Mother Nature! Too often, us humans are guilty of littering the picnic spot with disposable cutlery and tableware, which is almost always plastic. We ought to know about the more sustainable alternatives—ones that don’t harm the environment, even if you leave them behind without disposing of them properly(which we don’t encourage!) Disposable tableware includes containers, plates and cutlery, and there are alternatives that provide all of these! These include bamboo, paper and aluminium foil, but there are a lot more that we’ll discuss in future blogs. What everyone needs to know now is that they should use less plastic.
