Every successful company has an origin story worth telling, and Adaaya is no different. One day, Adaaya’s founder Roli happened to read an article about how a large retail chain was looking to sell eco-friendly tableware. Her entrepreneurial mind-set and an interest in sustainable living meant the opportunity was right up her alley. Growing up, Roli’s husband T. Harsh had seen palm leaves being used in traditional Indian applications, and he knew this was the perfect answer to the problem. One feasibility check later, he had confirmed it was a viable business idea. Then Harsh joined Roli as a partner, and together they started Adaaya’s journey in 2014.
